NEED NY Input/Advice

Hey all I recently moved from Michigan (Go Wings!) to Orchard Park just outside of Buffalo (Go Sabers!) heheh its cool I get to root for both the wings in west and sabers in the east...................anyhow

Since moving here I have been introduced to the "wonderful" world of registering/inspections and the most hideous of all things a FRONT license plate
I am DO NOT want to drill holes in my front bumper for a plate!

My questions are:
1) What is the fine if I get pulled over with no front plate?

2) Can I just put the plate in the front passenger side window?

3) Can I bend the plate to fit inside the lower front grill and attach it to the mesh insert?

My suggestion.... DON'T put it in your front window, it makes a good guillitine. Just throw it in the trunk, and if you get pulled over, say that you are scheduled to go into the dealer and take care of it soon. You might get a fix it ticket, forcing you to install it, but until then, you'd be ok.

That's just my 0.02 though

double sided tape...make it look like its installed using double sided tape on the bracket, put it on right before your inspection, then heat it up w/ the heat gun at home and remove it...works out here...

no we get pulled over here all the time for no front plate, but all you have to do is put it back on, get it signed off, and pay the $10 fine for no plate...

Mount it behind your front grill opening with zip ties, thats what I did and live in Rochester with no problems with the fuzz yet. . .
That or I knew this SRT-4 owner that made sunshade license plate holders I'll see if I can dig up his e-mail.

I would definately mount it to the wire mesh. Although I'm in NY i have FL plates so I don't care about front plates at all.
