Sunday Sunday Sunday

Hey all,
I did some checking of my own since Chris (DRK) hadn't posted anything... a good sized group of SRTs are heading up to Capital this sunday to do some racing, they are doing their test/tune from 11:30 - 5. JFSNG i'm going to bring my RL up there and try to beat my previous 14.888 which I think i'll be able to do with less nerves than last time. Anyways... just wanted to get the word out and see if we can have some more American cars/RLs up there. Hopefully I can force myself out of bed and make it up there around 11:15. See you there. Soup

Its in Crofton Maryland. Depending on where your coming from in B-more your best bet is to hope on 695 to 97 to 3. Its off Rt 3, probalby 5 mins after you get off 97 onto 3. www.capitalraceway.com is the website. They have a link to directions, the same ones I just listed pretty much... damn i'm smart.

Sorry bout not postin much I've been busy as hell with work. And that thread over on our forums has just started to blow up. I was actually about to post now when I saw Doug beat me to it! I'll be up there with a can of gas and a match to see what my car pulls. Better go faster than 14.4 or I'm gonna set it on fire, lol. $10 to watch/$20 to run.

Oh yeah and let's keep this on the DL now. Sunday's have been a well kept secret for some time now. Don't wanna crowd it up with too many people. Generally when I go on Sunday I average about 6 runs. Hopefully this Sunday will be light too, though I gotta feelin we might get whored due to the season ending in 3 weeks. But I guess we'll see!!!

Yeah, you better run faster than 14.4, cause I have a feeling I won't be so nervous and i'll have some decent runs, we might have to line up, haha. And if not... i'll bring the marshmellows/chocolate/graham crackers for the huge fire called your SRT

shit, if we're going to have all these people someone should put a "smokey joe" or another type of small grill in their trunk and have everyone bring some burgers/hotdogs/rolls/drinks and have a good time. Considering its lunch time or breakfast time for the people that have lives and go out on Saturday nights, when the track opens, so I know my ass is going to want some breakfast.

I actually think my brother has a small grill... and there is a giant right across the street. Not sure of the tracks policy on leaving and coming back though. So it'll have to be decently planned in advance. But I'm down for either finding a grill or bringing some food.
