Slvr RL, Rostraver Township, outside Pgh, on 51

Anyone here? Ran into a silver rl, non-aero wing, on route 51 yesterday, heading back from Hidden Valley. Saw it coming up on my left, finally got to see a nice flyby of an RL.

Guy slowed, waved, and we punched it in third.

Been seeing a few more RLs around....saw a couple in the DC area last week. Bout time!

Yea I think there are a LOT more RLs in this area than I originally imagined. I think I'm on like 8 in the past few months, all focused in the area around southside rt.51, etc. I think I saw the same silver one you did though earlier.


oh and by the way brian I think I saw you too, if you were in the southside area last week (friday maybe i think it was?) and saw a guy on a bike wave to you, that was me lol. If it wasn't him, no biggy, guy in the RL probably just thought I was losing it .

I'm betting that was the same silver RL I saw on the turnpike a few weeks ago on my way back from 7 springs.

Ya, I was on the southside on friday last week. I was down on 17th street for dinner around 7 or 8 and back around 12:30 or 1 am at Halo. Didn't notice anyone on a bike.

What kind of bike do you have, Josh? I doubt I'll be able to afford one this coming summer, but I'm hoping to have one by '07.

maybe it wasn't you... it probably woulda been roughly that time when i woulda saw you, you probably woulda remembered someone on a bike, but there were a lot of cruisers out that day though.


and I ride a Kawasaki Ninja, learning bike, going to be upgrading to something more fun I think come next Octoberish
