Does anyone know a good traffic lawyer in MoCo? I got a mild infraction this weekend and think I should probably retain some council. Maryland is weird and doesn't assign a court date until at least two weeks after the offence.
Thanks man... It was 59 in a 40 on Rt. 28 in the grey area between darnstown, gathersburg, and rockville. I was going to call you friday, we had some good racing going on up on great senica before I got the ticket, but I left my cell at home that night.
Just FYI, virtually every friday we meet at that one place around 10 and then go up to great senica to go racing.
I got served by a 300Z-TT. I don't know what happened. We tried a couple different rolls (20, 30, 40) a bunch of times, and besides the 20 roll, he was just plain faster then me. But barely. No matter what I did, around 90+ he just started pulling.

Alot of it was the driver. I had raced him at the track and on the street last fall, and I kept handing his ass to him.
Last week, I rode with him one time when he raced a camero, and then I had to give him a lesson about what gears to start from, when to shift, etc. It looks like he has got alot better driving. He also added a pair of BOV's, and those made a huge difference, because the internal ones were not really opening much at all.
Even with his shitty BOV's and intermitant radiator (last fall before he fixed it), he was running 14.8 @ 92.
As for your 0-60 in 6.4 find, I would buy it. He has turbo lag like it is his job (the car is old, and the turbos are a little worn). Unless he dumps the clutch at like 3k, his turbo is just breaking 0psi by the time he needs second. But the BOV's help him there.

What year was he? Even the last year of them, I think '96, are gonna be ten years old. So, true, unless they've rebuilt or replaced the turbos, HP will just continue to drop.
But I assume the MSN numbers were stock, new...still seems odd to be a car w/ 365 hp (I'd never heard of that version of the 300ZX), should be able to break into the fives . Hell, even if they suffer from horrible lag (even w/ two smaller turbos), check out the 1/4 time.
Ah well, I've always loved those cars, if just for the looks. Fellow down the street from me has a modded TT 300ZX. He never wants to play. But that car sure sounds mean.
was the Z the dark green one that the kid had just bought when we were in rockville that one night? i'll give you a call, might go over to altered atmosphere for a dyno pull.
He has either a 94 or 95, so 'newer' in terms of their life.
It is an extremely comfortable ride, with all leather and a really low stand. and looks nice except his is the color of my number 2's when I have the flu. It also has T-tops which i like on everything except the trans am. (hell, i even like the single panel on the del sol.
It is amazing how big of an engine (and turbo plumbing) they packed into such a small space under the hood.
