is wayne brady gonna have to choke a bitch?

that really sucks!!!!!! was anything taken from the car? did the driver side get it too?

i had to replace my passenger side window one time in NC (i was parallel to a dump truck and the window just exploded all over me) It cost like 230 or so. But they did it the same day and came out to the office.

well first off, what is your deductible for your insurance? if it's only a few bucks below the price to fix, don't even bother with a claim, it'll just affect your insurance rates in the future for no reason.

second off, unless there's a camera nearby you're screwed pretty much. at this point all the police will do is take your information and tell you pretty much there isn't much they can do but they'll try, blah blah blah. My suggestion to you is if you're able to, hook up a camera outside. If you can get their face, you'll be set. Honestly though unless you have a good police force, without any sort of real evidence/major crime, the police aren't going to be much help to you.
Just be aware and try to catch them if/when they try it again. Might be worth installing an alarm system as well.

yeah i guess i didnt think that through about the deductible. mine is 500 so im paying and yet i called and they filed a claim, so im stupid i guess, hopefully the rates dont go up too much. i am going to tryto spearhead a condo association security camera system. i naively though the saturn alarm would have gone off, but then confirmed that with saturn thismorning. hopefully the police give a shit because two cars got hit the same night, so hadto e the same person, and the lock on the maintainence shed was f'ed with according to the groundskeeper dude. thats like $700 worth of damage. plus i didnt go into work yet, damn it im getting more pissed. i guess imglad i hadnt gotten tint (was gonna last week) yet or id be paying to replace that too. id expect this kind of shit in the city but im in the suburbs, i livedin the city for 5 years and decided id had enough

eh don't get on yourself about the insurance thing, all depends on your company. I know with my insurance company and/or agent they actually have a 'forgiveness' thing where like if it's under a 1000 to repair, it doesn't affect your rates whatsoever, in any fashion, so you might have something like that. And if not, it'll only be a few bucks

and yea never trust OEM alarms, at least that's what I think, they're normally pretty crappy. some 'additional feature' they like to claim.

and good luck with the police depends alot on your area, police i've dealt with dont' care unless it's multiple thousand dollars in damage and/or someone's hurt/dead (live in a suburb). Otherwise they'll say 'they'll try their best' but nothin gwill get done. Try to get that camera, and if you aren't able to, try to talk to the police to get the paperwork to get the camera tape
