Feeler: Show at Saturn of Medford this spring/summer

Myself and a couple of other Sales Consultants were talking about bringing up the possability of a car show coming up this summer/spring. As of right now im just looking for anyone who'd be interested in coming out. Not sure of any of the details yet, but I'll try and get some going in the next couple of days.

Blue, you wouldnt happen to have pitbull performance vinyls on your car do you? Cause Ive seen one out here at the dealership for service a couple times.

As an update, manager told me to draw up some plans. Looks like we might get a couple guys here from the LI Vette clubs, one of the salesman is in with them, some 50's muscle, and I'd be in charge of the tuners. Gonna draw up a map of the lot and section off areas for each group.

I've got some guys in from STC-NY as well. Might even have a few makin a roadtrip from MI. Will post more info as it comes.

Update: Got a tentative Green Light from the Sales Manager at the store. I'm in the process of drawing up a few plans, namely whats going to be going on the entire day, food, drink, Show start/End times and so on. After I finalize the plans, they get forwarded to the Regional Sales Manager who gets the final OK, but somehow I don't see him being a problem.

I'm hoping for a strong showing of Tuners, but also have space set up for both Bikes and American Muscle. Unless otherwise noted, Show Registration should be done by 9:30 AM for awards consideration. Anyone after 9:30 will still be allowed to show, just not in the running for awards.

Also tentative are the Awards for Best Overall, Best Tuner/Muscle/Bike and the Creativity award. Something along the lines of the GM Tuner award handed out at NOPI.

I havent gotten a green light on the refreshments yet, but im 90% sure we'll get something. I'm trying for Famous Daves Barbecue, but we might end up with hot Dogs and Hamburgers.

I've sent mails to both Meguiar's and Gliptone to see about possible sponsorships, but have yet to see any responses from either.

More info to follow, just starting to get everything hammered out. Expect a set date soon.

Saturn of Medford out in Suffolk County, LI. Take LIE Exit 64 South on Route 112 about 3 minutes and we're on the right side. VERY Easy to get to.
