Pittsburgh Raceway opens April 8

Who's up for heading to Pittsburgh Raceway Apr. 8 or 9 for some test and tune?

Gates Open: 12 Noon / TnT 1 PM – 5 PM.

I'm curious to see what I can pull in the 1/4...then after stage I or II

Just keeping this top-of-mind. I'm up for heading out either day.

Brian, you should drag (whew, what a pun) your gf along. I think I might bring mine, just to show her what the RL can do, since she gets scared if I go over 3k rpm in any gear haha.

From what I've heard from other people that go out to PRP, opening weekend is pretty crazy. Lots of people running and not a lot of runs for anyone. Like I said, I'd be into spectating just for the sake of saving my brakes and tires for track days. Maybe if things are looking better money wise by the end of the season, I might try out PRP.

Wont be dragging the girlfriend out with me at all. She hates when I drive fast let a lone accelerate quickly. Her ex took her there one time and she said she was miserable and felt out of place. not really into cars. She feels they are there to get you from point A to point B, but I don't hold that against her.

I definitely want to go sometime soon after they open, but if it is a really busy like alley says, I dont wanna sit there for 4 hours to get 2 runs in. We'll talk before that weekend.

Sounds like a plan, and my gf is the same way.

Plans may have just changed for me. Stage kits are now available so if I can get my hands on one before the T&T I might just have to see how well it works.

Where you planning on getting staged?

I keep meaning to call Jim Crivellis...might have to today, after work. See about Stage I.

Save Stage II or a smaller pulley for when I get used to the new speed

I'm trying to see if you can get this at any GM dealer. If so, my family has a Pontiac/Buick/GMC/Cadillac dealership I may try and get it for cheaper.
