I have a clean '70 fleetside. Stop giving me ideas, money's spose to go it the Saturn dammit. However, when I sell my boat it is getting a 3" drop, front discs, and a 3.73 posi (need to convert to 5 lug from 6), and paint.

nice truck mine was stock with the origional numbers matching 283 and munci 3 on the tree transmission. My origional planns were power steering modern suspension (Corvette) and disk breaks snd automatic transmission. all that went out the window when my wife said she was pregnate. My redline was the first new car I bought for myself. before that the newest vehicle i ever owned was a 1990 chevy 2500. someday ill hae another old truck. i personally like the 56 chevys but there are many options out there.
