Freakin work filter

hmmm my work filter has been randomly blockin some of the other forums i go to like once a week (literaly, i don't go to them very often at all). starting to worry me. the thing i can't figure out is the forums i FREQUENT, (like this one), remain unblocked despite the obvious name redlineFORUMS. if they block me at work i'm going to become a very sad man i will have nothing to do!

Tell your boss you have lots of free time and see if there is anything you could do.

eh I would if I planned on making a career out of this job in particular, i'm going to be moving soon enough, I just need to figure out when and where, and why

I was just joking anyhow. I'd slap anyone who walked in their boss' office and asked for more work. It would be so un-American.

exactly, if i stay in this job i'm stuck working and learning a programming language that is 30 years old, the countdown has started as well.

i wouldn't mind asking for more work if It hought it might lead to me learning something, etc etc. but that's not what I'll get.

This is the boat I'm in. I'm not asking for more work when its just going to be some mindless task that is just to keep me busy that a student aide could be doing. I wait for them to bring me more meaningful project that I am qualified to do.

I'm glad I discovered that task was never going to come here...can't believe I'm looking FORWARD to more school...
