Any Yellowstone hikers in here?

Anyone else ever do any hiking, back-country in particular, through Yellowstone? Been there 4 times myself, and am planning on going back this summer. Anyone have any good back-country hikes if so? Looking at the 3-day range personally.

Hell, any Yellowstone questions or comments welcome as well. The place simply amazes me...

I got a question...when do you think it'll blow and change the world?...lol

I'd love to go to yellowstone, maybe one day I'll take my wife and kids there (when that day comes...)

It could blow tomorrow, or it could blow in 100,000 years... no telling. Most scientists will tell you that none of the signs that they're looking for, to indicate an imminent eruption (in geological terms that's within the next couple of thousand years) are there. Of course, they've only been studying it hardcore for about 20 years now.

It really don't matter when it goes, there's nothing anyone can do about it.

It's a cool place, every human being should go there at least once in their lives. It's the most surreal place I've ever laid eyes on.

No kidding...frankly I'd rather be there when it blows so I don't have a painful life afterwards.

And hopefully I can make it to yellowstone when I am still able to hike freely.
