that is easy, the internals were all manufactured by umpa lumpas in lumpa land.

Probably only a handful of people in the world know the complete heritage of the F35. But I'd be very suprised if it was designed and built from the ground up by SAAB. I have to laugh a bit when people say SAAB this and that. SAAB was/is always a tiny company that used many suppliers and shared platforms with other compaines long before GM. Their first 4 stroke (V-4) was bought from Ford and their second (slant 4) from Triumph/Standard. GM has owned SAAB for some time and I would guess the 9-3 Ecopower is as much GM's as SAAB's. And didn't GM essentially contracted the Eco____ out to Lotus anyway? I'm not knocking SAAB or the parts, but its not as if they came out of some entirely unrelated supplier like Porsche free of any GM influence. And as far as Getrag goes, don't forget all the Muncie/Getrags that GM built.

gettrag tans. are on a supra 2j motor capable of handling 800whp easy i would'nt say there not strong...lol i dont see the rl hittin 800whp easy not anytime soon the axles are crap thought in the rl not 400hp even

I have this odd feeling that they tranny for the Supra, and the Getrag in the Cobalt/Ion base models... are a touch different...

you were too lazy or blind to look over when draining your oil to notice the casting mark that says saab on it huh?
