lol poor man came in too late

Alpha is our resident sticker whore, he had a Getrag sticker on his car, but the RL doesn't use a getrag tranny, so we all called him a ricer for having a sticker on his car for a part that's not in his car

The car doesn't have a Getrag tranny, but Alpha had put a huge Getrag sticker on the car before realizing this fact... We've been giving him crap about it for months... mainly based on his self-proclaimed 'mastery' off all things about the car...

Odd. Every technical write-up I've read about the RL mentions a Getrag transmission.

So what kinda transmission do we have?

F35, same as the Turbo Saabs. Stronger tranny than the Getrag was. Yeah, every tech write up does say that, till we looked into it more.

literally every car review I've read says they have that though, but it's not they have, what's the full model number... i forget, i'm sure sp00ner remembers off hand though

the getrag one wouldn't have been strong enough for the RL power numbers as well

I've even seen this misinformation on the CobaltSS forums. Weird.

there is the posibility that saab got some of the parts from getrag as they are in the same part of the world and both are strongly linked to GM, i know it has a saab stamping on the transaxle but who knows who manufactured all the internals
