Corvette Z06 - Pics & Video (56K Beware)

This car is quite a cool deal. I heard that a Chevy dealer near me had just got one in, so my dad and I went over to check it out. Let it be said now that neither of us are in the market for this car, but we could not let this sell without at least seeing it. Before you ask, no I didn't get to sit in it, let alone drive it.

A close up of the exhaust. There is a butterfly valve that closes to help create torque at low RPM and then opens as RPM climb to allow a full 505 hp.

That is one sexy car. But, I'd never by a car from a stealership that slaps a huge markup on a car. To me it is pretty crappy.

Dealer mark up????? Whats going on there. When I was in sales we sold a few Z06's at invoice.

To be honest, they will let it go for about half that markup. About $8K over list is the rough market price for a Z06 anywhere. Right now they have an offer from a dealership in Texas for $10K over sticker, but they would rather sell it locally.

those cars are awsome... the local Gm tuning shop here has one (owner bought it for himself but says it was a company car for the tax right off) anyway he let me drive the thing about for about 10 mins... lets just say first gear in that car is like 2nd gear to us... it just pulls and pulls and pulls... then when it's time to shift it starts all over again... it's like um yes i would like the abilty to breat every few seconds... but no the car just pins you in the seat until you let up on the throttle or you pass out.. it's pure power at it's finest
