You can just use your precious AOL account and create a free homepage with 123edit. You can put some pink stars and some photos of unicorns on your site and tell us all about your favorite American Idol star. It'll be delightful.

here's a warning superbird, html commands are a lot more sensitive to spelling than board readers ;p

ahhahaha freak that is jokes

it is very true, i went thru a couple years of programming in school, html and javascript are weird but easy once u figure out the basics. but if u make one mistake the whole page can look completely different, if not show up properly at all and then u have to debug it. and that is not fun. u might want to research what you are getting into before u start something u wont finish.

And that's just the start! PHP syntax is sure to give him an ulcer! Or even worse... can you see Superbird editing a SQL dBase?

Easiest is to just register a domain name at some place like godaddy.com for a few bucks, they have a free single page web site with the DNS name. You can set it up via the web, it's a no brainer, anyone can do. Or you can add extra pages pretty cheap. Costs me less than $40.00 a year with domain name, website, email accounts and ftp.

If you have a ISP, most also offer free webpage abilities. However you don't get an DNS name. So instead of "www.itsme.com" you would have to enter an address like 167.145.35.12 that most people won't remember or go to, so a DNS name is much easier and will get more people to visit.

Also with a DNS name you can have email addresses with names like
george@itsme.com instead of george4135@yahoo.com. All around it is easier to use and remember and your not forced to use your current ISP forever. If you change ISPs, you don't loose your email addresses, or have to send 500 people a note that it is changing. You can also set up a dummy email that will take spam from anything that comes to ....itsme.com or whatever.

Just a suggestion. I've had my website without any problems for about 4 years, I think.
