*WARNING* Ice Wax!!!!!!

Ok so I saw the posts on here saying how good this Ice Wax was complete with pictures and everything! So I decide to give it a try This weekend was absolutely perfect weather for doing the complete detail job to the R/L!!

I start to head out and the Wife invokes the Car Detailing mod #3 (3yr old lil guy to help dad) ok no biggie he is actually helpfull and he loves to do it.

So off we go the wash goes off without a hitch, same with the drying, I keep the lil guy busy working on the wheels while I use the Ice wax. He is very curious about the wax for some reason and watches me for quite awhile. I am about 3/4 of the way complete when I have to run into the house for a phone call.......My wife comes out to "Keep an eye on the lil guy"

I return outside to resume my work and can't seem to find the wax bottle .........................I walk around the R/L and discover the detail mod #3 feverishly working on..................the passenger side Recaro!!

Let me tell you Ice Wax is great for the outer body but not so good for the fabric of your seats

I have absolutely no idea how to clean it up anyone have any good ideas?

I am thinking I may be able to Sell the wife on Ebay and get a new seat (the lil guy genuinely thought he was being helpfull I blame his mom )

Try a shop vac, maybe you can suck some of it out of the seat and wipe the rest?

Wow, wax all in the Recaro cloth! I would 1st try a shop vac and a stiff bristle brush (gently)... Hopefully it will dry up and turn to powder form so you can vaccume it out. Maybe some of that dry powder carpet cleaner stuff, forget what it's called but it does a nice job without damaging stuff. Good luck!

Scotch sells that foamy stuff in a can w/ the bristle brush built-in that works pretty well on my regular fabric interior.

I haven't tried it on my velour interior, or my Recaros... so take that for what it's worth.

WOW, that does suck but being a parent I do find it funny. Now if my 10 year old did that...

Maybe you can find someone parting an RL out and do a wife/seat swap, lol

What about Resolve? Would that work on this?
