Any RL's in Nor Cal that want to run?

Any RL's want to run in Nor Cal? I can't find a redline to race, I would like to race one stock or modified. Doesnt matter, I would prefer to do it from a dig and a roll.

We can meet up half way or one of us can go to each other..

I would prefer one of us be knowledgable of the area..

I wish I was out there! I'd love to see how my 'juiced' tune works against known competition!

that would kick ass, honestly I think you would run me from a roll.

If your using 100 octane and your "juiced" tune.

I would use my 5 gallons of 110 octane sitting in my garage (that i'm saving for a special occasion) and use a MBC and turn it up to about 26psi.

How much do you guys get race gas out there for? I get VP 110 for like 45 bucks for 5 gallons. It seems a bit expensive.

I might be able to, it feels REAL strong, the whole engine sounds different. I'm now up to almost 28 degrees of advance at redline, and it just keeps taking. I'm leaving as-is for my race on Saturday, it's the exact same track I last raced, so it should be a good back-back comparison.

I haven't looked into anything locally, in terms of HIGH octane. Just the 100 they sell at a couple stations around town. It's $5.20 right now for 100. Intense is starting to sell VP now, and I was contemplating getting a 50 gal bulk order... but I dunno, thinking it would be better to check one of the performance/custom type shops so I could just pick it up and avoid shipping. $9 a gallon is right near what Intense is charging for it. If nothing else I might order a gallon or two for emergencies. I've realized that if I'm stuck with 1/4 tank of 93, I don't even know if I can run my high octane setup with the timing the way it is right now.

Oh, and I can see why you were getting knock with the RL, there's no way you could have had those mods on the 91 Cali gas. All I had to do was add 1 degree of timing to start getting 2-3 degrees of knock retard in random places. I can imagine what it would have been like with the additional mods and on 91 octane.
