They've got the WC on in the IT room right now, I stop, watch it, wonder, and move on.

Yup, da Bears! I've got alot of hope for them this year. They've got the whole defense back, the QB should be ready, and I hope to make it back to the playoffs again.

Hall of Fame game is on August 6th, then the 10th starts pre-season and the regular season starts September 7th.

I'm a bucs/jets fan. Yes I know but I have my reasons lol.

Jets because that's what I was raised on by my dad until he died. I was born in NJ and my dad was born and raised there.

Bucs because my college team is FSU and my all time favorite player from FSU is warrick Dunn, who was drafted by the Bucs and I started liking them then and kept on even though he isn't there anymore. I think he is with the Falcoms now if I'm not mistaken.

May have only on last year, but that's still more than the sCrUBS. I'm watching a game on tv right now... hummm the socre is 6-2 top of the 9th.... I wonder what game this might be.
And I'm glad they don't sell out means us real fans can still get tickets.

Man... come in a thread about football talking smack....

First of all, it's pretty amazing the number of sox fans that crawled out of the wood work, oddly enough, they're the same poeple that you bashed as drunken colllege kids at the largest beer garden, last year. Now they go to the cell, and they're 'real fans'.

Second, you have an interesting description of a 'real fan'. Apparently it's one that only follows their team when it's winning, and not the whole time. Again, nice touch. Perhaps you have a Yankees hat that you'll be busting out next year when the Sux are back to normal. Got your Patriots or Steelers jersey for next year as well?

Third, it never ceases to amaze me the number of sox fans that will start talking shit with no provocation. You're the second team in the first city, champs or not. More people come to Cubs games with no WS win for 100 years, than a Sox game with one last year. Again, real fans? I'll take my Cubbies with my fans that are actually loyal to their team, WAY before I look at the fair weather fans from the south side.

Fourth, the Cubs have something intangible that the Sux never will, you'll have to let me know the last time 40,000 people showed up and stayed for 9 innings in a useless, meaningless game that no one cared about outside of that stadium. Since you're a Sux fan you'll never understand or care, and that's a shame, because you're really missing out on something...

Fifth, I used to like both teams, but comments like the ones above are the reason I had to pick and choose, and I HATE the people that made me choose sides, but that's ok, it's done and over with.

Now, back to football... I believe there another thread about baseball...
