Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

Took my little bro's and fiance to it this evening...freaking amazing movie! Little more comedy in it in this one than the first. Great story line and was well worth the 2.5 hours in the theatre.

FYI- Buy tickets in advance or get there early. They had it showing in 3 of the theatres at the cinema and 15 minutes before mine started the one I was in and the two after that (started 30 and 60 minutes after mine) were sold out and when I walked out of my viewing of it they announced the next round of three had just sold out as well.

Either way, good ending and defiinitely makes you beg for the third one to be released, which won't be till next year, even though filming is completed. Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom and just everyone did a wonderful job acting and the filming was just as amazing as it was in the original for those who were impressed with the human form of the Black Pearl's crew to skeleton and back to human for it being a Disney movie. If you have been on the ride in either Disney World or Disney Land, there are things that make you think back to the last time on the ride.

I definitely recommend it for those that even enjoyed the first one a little bit. I would say so much more, but don't want to kill it for anyone at all.

Mike

Just got back. It is a freaking awesome flick! I won't say more than this: If you liked to first one, do yourself a favor and see this one. Take a friend and get your tickets early.

WORST MOVIE EVER!!!

I love Johnny Depp and he is an amazing actor but whoever wrote that script is a dueche. It was funny, at times, but the overall story was too drawn out. There was no point to watching the movie, it was a 2 hr 43 min preview for the 3rd one and everyone I talked to walking out of the movie thought it was retarded also. The only thing that made watching it worth it was the girl I went with otherwise it was a wasted night.

actually despite the fact that i liked the movie i can see where you're coming from, nothing actually HAPPENED in the movie for the whole 3 hours it took up

I haven't seen Pirates 2 yet... I'm sure it's good but the drive your car into a wall thing is hilarious.

BTW... where in the "burgh" do you live. I grew up in the south hills area (Mt. Lebanon, Dormont). I haven't been back for 10 years but, still a die hard "Steelers fan". I'm coming back to visit in 3 weeks.
