State farm is the SHIT!!

Wow.... just wow.

Actually went in to sit down with an agent for insurance on a RL.

Originally was quoted a smidge over 1000 every 6 months.

I went in, for MAXIMUM insurance, I'm talking EVERYTHING maxed except for limited tort instead, 760 every 6 months, SEVEN SIXTY!!. 100/300/100 etc etc. rental, bodily injury, health insurance, etc etc etc etc

This is with TWO, count them TWO violations in the past YEAR or so (I thought the one was when I was 18... apparently it was when I was 20 LOL )

I'm downright amazed though, I'm currently paying them 300 every 6 months for a 10 year old car with just comprehensive (and good limits). HELL YEA.

sorry just had to get that out of my system, I'm happy, so cheap so cheap.

That's an excellent deal. Probably the best State Farm quote I've ever seen.

ill second wasted. Make sure you have medical payments, and rental car...those are the things that 90% of people leave out of their policy, and end up regretting when they have a huge accident.

yup, and loss of income. Imade sure to ask about rental policy I definitely wanted that. and he listed off the other stuff when I asked. rental is like a 1000 dollar limit (fuck yea!) and 80% costs. including towing.

Nice...PA has some more stuff that they wont offer here in CA (thanks to prop 103 and dumba$$ John Gharamendi)...make sure you get medical payments, or else State Farm cant(wont) go after the other insurance company for your medical bills, should you get in a gnarly accident.

Full/Limited Tort is a PA specific thing, so I don't have any real world examples of it showing up in a Court of Law. My only gripe is the verbage that references a "severe injury" b/c it's not entirely clear who is deciding what constitutes a "severe injury."

But I look at it like this: If you don't plan on suing for an outrageous amount of pain and suffering damages, then you don't need Full Tort.

that's exactly the way I looked at it as well. When I'm older, blah blah blah, maybe. Basically full tort seems to just be 'pain and suffering'

just cover my loss of income and medical bills and i'll be alright for the most part. at least this point in my life

that and seeing how safe these damn redlines are it'll be hard for me to come up with a ridiculous injury!
