Good place to find Subaru Baja Mod info

Looking into getting rid of the Talon and the Silverado and replacing it with a Turbo Baja. Need to find out what I'm looking at to get the drivetrain and brakes up to spec, preferably stock STI stuff, but depending on cost....

I don't know too much about the Baja setup. I know it's a 2.5ltr turbo boxer so if you get a downpipe ($150-350) you will gain a lot of top end. The WRX/STi downpipes should bolt right onto it.

Thanks for the link, but my filter at work won't let me in there. I'll have to try at home. I figure all the boxers are pretty similiar, and I'm not against doing a full engine and trans swap from a STI.

I am willing to bet that the engine is basicly the same thing as the STi's. What I would personaly look into would be to get a STi top mount, a Vf39 sti turbo, Up pipe (if stock one is catted) /downpipe and a custom ecutek tune.

What do you know about this JDM STI twin scroll? For the price of a turbo, I want to make sure that I get the right one if I upgrade the stock unit.

The twin scroll will require more modifications then another, easily-obtainable IHI turbo. I think the JDM STi turbo sells for around $2000 for just the turbo. You can make the same power out of a VF39/VF34/VF22. Those turbos will bolt right onto your car without modification and cost between $300(slightly used)- $700. Plus the downpipes you can get localy will bolt right onto them.

Yikes! That's a bit pricey. I know max HP wouldn't be too different between them, I just figured if the price wasn't too out of line, I'd prefer the flater torque curve.
