GM TECHS: need info on 4T45E tranny in my sunfire

The codes come back to A & B solenoid isssues. Where are these located? A guy at work said he thought they were under the bottom pan, so I popped that off last night and I didn't see any electric solenoids at all. An online search found the parts for under $20, 2 required, so I'd like to get this fixed and save money. Right now (before I dropped the pan and drained the Trans fluid) the tranny only stays in low gear. I have been told that this is an electrically shifted trans and one or both solenoids being bad will do this.

TIA

2-3 Shift Solenoid Valve Replacement
Removal Procedure

Important
Retainer clips hold in each of the valve line-ups. Use a small screwdriver in order to remove the retainer clips. Be careful not to score the valve body when removing the retainer clips and valves. Before removing the valve line-ups, inspect each valve line-up for freedom of movement.
