Hmm... Just built a Commodore SS (still has the big engine) and it's price is a lot cheaper:

$45,365 AUD

= $35,776 USD

= $40,824 CAD

Getting closer...

Agree with you on the AWD car for my next - there's just too much damn snow around here to travel without AWD in the Winter.

It's not the snow or ice [I get around fine in my FWD cars and can drive RWD cars with not a lot of problems], I just feel more comfortable in AWD on the highways/side roads plus it's you can have more fun much more safely.

my "dream" ss v was 57993.10 RRP which is 45,791.40 USD. if you're saying there'll be another 10k off that and that'll be in a couple of years... shit i'm all over that biatch.

I like it but it wouldnt matter if it was voted peoples choice by 100million people the automotive press here in the states will automatically HATE it because it is made by a GM company.
