Any idea when it's going to warm up in the Midwest?

Well, with temperatures hovering in the 0 to -10 degree range right now here in mid Michigan, and intermittent snow, my car has been getting filthier and nastier with each passing day; my car is about to officially cross over into "salted road white" color range, with aerodynamic slush mudflaps.

And it's not like I can take it to the quarter wash & just spray it down, because it's so damn cold it's a bad idea to spend any considerable amount of time outdoors, and water would probably just freeze to the car IF the sprayer even turned on.

Any idea when this miniature ice age is going to lift and I can finally clean my car again? I need the filth to stop!!!

Huh, twin cities huh?

I was just in your neck of the woods a couple of days ago, we went out to Maple Grove last weekend to look at a printer. It was DAMN COLD there - it was fifteen below when we left.

I just want it to be warm; I'm guessing the weather your way will be here in Michigan about a week later.

Brrrrrrrrr . . .

Haha, honestly, we didn't bring my car & we didn't stay long, or I would've. We literally loaded into my business partner's Excursion on Thursday night, drove straight through until we got there on Friday morning, checked out the printer, spent a day going over finances, testing it out, etc., and then left Friday afternoon to come back home.

And as for the "driving all the way to Minnesota to look at a printer," it's a $80,000 printer, and we wanted to see it in person, use it, make sure it was going to do what we needed before we plunked down a heaping chunk of change such as that!

Edit: It's also the size of a Lotus Elise (dimensionally & weight), so it couldn't be brought to us so easily as we could be brought to it!

But yeah, anywho, it is really fuggin' cold.

-16...ha, we had -22 on our thermometer at 6am Monday morning. It would be nice to have the city heat effect up here. After letting my SC-2 run for 30 minutes before leaving for work, it shifted pretty good but got stiffer as I drove toward Anoka and by the time I got to work, it was just starting to scratch syncro's in every gear That's friggin cold; can't even keep the tranny warm enough for smooth shifts. Those 30's will be a welcome sight indeed.

well ya coulda seen the procharger at least and as far as that printer goes... sounds like the high speed color scanner that I worked w/ at lockheed... the size of a normal copier but costs $60k...
