It really isn't that important, it's just Audi's marketing ploy for introducing the A3 (which really is a warmed over GTI) into the US market. It is, however, a sharp looking car.

<------drooling over the A3

Maybe in a couple years when they start selling the A3 with all the goodies over here I will be able to afford one

I'd take a Caddy anyday... I think the new Audis are hideous, I used to think they were nice looking cars. The older S4's were nice, heavy and underpowered, but nothing that can't be fixed. Too much money for most of 'em though, if I want a Passat, I'll buy a Passat...

Arrow

if you ask me the new GTI, Jetta, and the Adui A3 all look to japanese . this is coming from a VW guy . every time i see the new jetta from the back i think it's a corolla. the VW/Audi should look like a box on wheels....that's why you can look at any one of them and tell what it is, now it just blends in.

The new Jetta and the new Audis, with that horrible grill in the middle, it just looks terrible to me. Kinda like a pig snout. Even has the little round rings to look like nostrils...
