I do know how many black friends I have. That isn't racist. I simply don't have very many and those I do have have been good friends for years.

I have never been a server or worked in the food industry, but 20% is a minimum tip.

just a note from an old guy on the topic of whos girlfriend is hotter topic? you both have really nice looking ladies as well as scarlett is also a good looking young lady. does it really matter who is better looking. in a contest of judging it would be left up to the individual judging the contest on personal preferences. myself ,,i have always had a weekness for the ladies with dark hair and eyes so my vote would be persuaded towards them instead of blondes or redheads, it comes down to if it pleases your eyes and she feels the same when she looks back at you.thats all that really matters to the two that are involved. it really does not matter if the rest of the world or your own friends think your choice of a mate is hot or not. to much in todays world has been givin up to look the part in order to be accepted into societys upper scale,,you must be skinny and look just so otherwise your just trash. it comes down to whats inside that really matters and i would take that any day over looks or fitness.

That same logic continues on down the line in many aspects of life.
Our cars being one. We all, well most of us, really enjoy them and enjoy showing them off. We are proud of them. We want everyone to know it is not just some saturn. Its a supercharged Saturn. When someone has disparaging remark, we get defensive.
The same can be true of our mates. We chose them for our own special reasons and want to show them off. Again, we are proud. When people do not see those things that we find special, we get defensive and want to point out those qualities which swayed us towards this particular mate.
Though there are many here who give their opinions and obviously the poll is about ones opinion, I think the thread was started as more of a platform to show off one's mate that one is invariably proud of; rather than to determine whos is cuter, prettier, fatter, uglier, ect.
