Hang-over cures?

Does anybody have any cures for a hang-over? I really have to stop coming to work hung-over but I don't want to stop drinking.

Next time try eating a bannana before you drink. I was told that this works well but never tried myself. Drink a bunch of water and pop two tylenol.

after a long night of drinking, try downing a few glasses of water before knocking out for the night.

It might be the potassium in the bananas that help out with the hang-over. I might just try that.

I've tried the water thing and it seems to work out pretty well, the only problem is that I wake up every hour to pee.

Bloody mary for breakfast, followed by a jackhammer (energy drink/vodka), works like a champ!

It's been shown that taking Ibuprofen, aspirin, Tylenol, etc. around the time you consumed alcohol and a while afterwards is TERRIBLE for your body. (I think it was something about it directly reacting with the alcohol)

Just deal with the peeing. The couple of glasses of water before bed works 100% of the time for a friend of a friend who I don't know.....

Alcohol is a diuretic (it makes you have to pee when you don't really need to) like caffeine and a few other things. This is why you piss just as much after shots of alcohol compared to drinking beers (and also why it dehydrates you). It may not be the fact you drink the extra water that makes you have to pee later but just drain the hatch a few times before you go to sleep.

I agree with the above completely. It also helps to eat some starchy foods (bread / crackers) to absorb it so your body doesn't get hit with all of it right away.
