Have you seen proof that it has 125K on it? That's a lot for a bike.

the guy who bought it off me said that since the title was previously listed in my name, that the different mileage started with the document swap between me and him.

dain i had the bike for just under 2 months and sold it 2 weeks ago. at first i gave him the information about the previous owner and he said that he was going to talk to him about getting money back. i don't know if he did or not but now he wants me. we'll see what his email back to me today says...

id just suggest staying calm and not getting in a yelling match with him. Play the sympathy mia copa card and that you are stuck if the original seller doesnt budge.

whats the VIN of the bike.... And what year SV is it. 125k for a bike is a lot and it problably wouldn't be in the greatest cosmetic shape.

Got pics???

kindly ask the new owner how in the heck he think's you put 100+k miles on a bike in under 2 month's.. im sorry but it isnt possible.. and IF the original owner NEVER had the bike registered and put all those miles on it HE committed a crime in not telling you TRUE MILEAGE and also riding a bike that wasnt properly registered/smogged/inspected(depending on your local smog/inspection law's). if he truely NEVER registered it and sold it to you thinking he can pull one on you(odometer fruad) cause the odo had rolled over he is RETARTED..
and you would be well advised to file a small claims case and going to the DMV bout this one man.. what year bike and how does it allready have 125K on it???

If it's only been 2 months I think you can probably go after the original owner for the difference. That's Fraud.

You are responsible to the new guy, but the previous owner is also responsible to you.

Time to sell that wot box you been posting picks of along with some other mods and offer him 500. If he takes you to court and you take the next guy to court you are going to loose far more than 500 dollars.

Nah, small claims is cheap to file, and if he has all the documents from the first sale he should be fine.

It takes 2 court apperance for a traffic ticket. how many apperances you think its gonna take to sew 2 people? If he has a job he will loose money for the days lost and all that other good stuff.

That's why you explain that to the original owner, and have the person pay out of court. ;-)
