thanks for all the input so far. The bike is a 2000. It runs strong and has absolutely no problem. It is in perfect visual condition too. I'll have to take the previous owner to court, we'll see...

allmost 16k miles a year. That bike must have been ridden everyday about 40 miles a day 7 days a week. Thats a lot of valve adjustments a year on that bike.

Something doesn't sound right. The clutch and some other wear and tear Items would have been replaced atleast once. It should be on atleast it's 5th chain and atleast 2 sets of sprockets.

Maybe the person who bought it off you is lieing about the mileage and he just felt like he paid to much for the bike and he want's some money back.

^^well the motor in there is not the original motor, the vins don't match, the frame vin is what actually has 125k on it.

the vin is: JS1VP52A1Y2102373

can anyone run that for me and get the scoop? TIA!

Well there are 2 reports on carfax. Which would problably be 2 owners.

If anyone is paying for carfax right now they can run it for you.

well i'm gonna bump this with the latest.

how exactly do I go about doing this? I need to talk to the previous owner and hopefully get some money from him. How the fuck do I do that? Can I file a claim against him and how exactly do I do that?
