I need some help...lawyers preferably

I sold my SV650 bike a couple weeks ago with 25k miles. Said that mileage on my title, my bill of sale, etc and that's how it was sold to me. Well, the guy who bought it ran a vin check after he bought it, and the bike actually had 125k miles on it, the odo rolled.

Anywho, at first he wanted to get the previous owner before me to refund some money to him, but now he says "legally" I have to do it through you (me). On the back of the title, I checked the box of the bike's "actually mileage," not the "as far as I know this is the correct mileage" box. I honestly didn't know the bike had this many miles, the guy I bought it off of didn't tell me, and that is what my title said.

The guy who bought it off of me says:
"I'll register it knowing I can never sell it and not press the issue about the false title (I'm not blaming you for that, but by law you have the burden of proof. Sorry.) Your call."

But, he wants me to give him a partial refund for the bike's "worn parts" or refund the money for the bike.

What the hell do I do? TIA

Was it a lot of money? I'd say buy it back and be done with it.

Even if it is "as is" the odometer statement has to be accurate.

I wouldn't pay him. The worst he can do is take you to small claims court to try and recoup the cost.

Well that's easy to do because I don't have any money
but I sent him a nice email explaining my situation so we'll see how that turns out.
