Unhappy A sad day for myself.

Well,

I'm not exactly sure why I am posting this on here, but I have a sense that it'll make me feel better. I recently "knocked-up" a girl I was dating and we broke up before we even knew she was pregnant. After we found out she was we both knew that we had to be responsible for our actions and pretty much "man-up" to the situation. After commiting to that and getting used to the idea that I would be a dad, something tragic happened. she Mis-carriaged and this really hurt me in a sense I didn't ever see before. I really had to deal with this situation and I really got used to the idea that I was going to have my first-born. Now that this tragic event happened I am actually really sad and depressed about it. Who knew what kind of kid it was bound to be. To know I creatrf something after the fact made me delighted and proud, now I'm left drowning in my own thoughts about what kind of life really ended. Thats all, I feel better now for telling someone other than my idiotic friends who joked about how this tragic event was a good thing....

This child was in-fact concieved in the passenger seat of my Redline for coincidental purposes....seriously

dam,n man that sucks.. have you talked to the girl at all? maybe she could help, or maybe you could grow a greater relationship with her.... I like to think everything happens for a reason... hope everything works out for the both of you.

Things like that also hurt relationships a lot too.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I know I am not ready for a child at this time in my life, but if I found out that I was going to be a father I would have been very excited. And then to have it slip away, I wish you the best. Remember tough times dont last...tough people do.

Sorry to hear that. I believe that everything happens for a reason. Now you know the feeling of being a part and you can make the choice next time insted of it falling into your lap.

Thanks guys, yeah thats my belief that things happen for a reason. Maybe I wasn't ready. I'm about to go into the airforce and still am young and livin'...obviously...ha...The girl and I have barely talked since we found out saturday at the hospital. She is really depressed and is really sick. I was quite worried for her because she had been very ill for two weeks before we found out. Her mom wants to rip my head off still though. She was only 20.

I'd honestly try developing a friendship with her. You both went through this together, her somewhat more than you since she had life in her. But I seriously think you should go hang out with her. Clear everything up and then when you're in the air force, whenever you need a girl to talk to, you have her. You two went through something intense together, though it didn't last long, still a heavy thing.

I agree some things happen for a reason. My wife, 23, and I, 24, weren't trying but not preventing I guess you could say. She tested positive one month, then a week after she was supposed to start, she lost it, which is common in the first time of getting pregnant. It sucked royally because she didn't tell me till after the fact.

Then a couple months later, she is now pregnant, 13 weeks and 3 days along, out of the first trimester, which couldn't have been better timing because I'll finish school with my BA in Accounting this December so I'll have a couple months of pay before it is here.

But I really thinkg things happen in mysterious ways and for good reasons. Maybe it wasn't meant to be to have a child together, but meant for you guys to get that event...

I'm not sure why, but it reminded me of a Cyanide and Happiness comic.

To refrain from being as horrible as I could be, I'll make you click a link to see it. If you're sensitive about this topic, I wouldn't recommend it.

But to be honest, you probably dodged a bullet. Having a kid that young with a girl you have no intention of being with will royally fuck your life.
