Schoolio.

Well holy crap am I nervous. I'm going back to school for the first time since I was 18. I turn 24 on Wednesday too . A little nervous to say the least, but I'm not working and everything I own is paid off so ALL I have to do is focus on school. I've never really cared for school but I don't want to work in property management my whole life (or ever again for that matter). Any other late bloomer college folks here?

Well somewhat a late bloomer...went straight from HS to college, but didn't take many classes, was working full time and part time for 5 years...then realized I really needed to finish after taking a whole year off and now I took 17 credits during the summer and taking 20 this fall to finish and I turned 24 in May.

Tip...just do everything in advance. My school started last Wednesday and my auditing prof sent out the syllabus early so I had my first paper due Sept 2nd and I finished it last night.

I start school Sept. 2nd. Right after HS I took 2 years of University then took 2 years off and worked.

I won't have a job, can't golf or anything so it's just school. It's 33 weeks long in the field I want so I should be able to focus. I'm not to worried about being 4 years older than most people there as when I shave most people think I am 18ish.. lol

Yes sir. Not far from Bella Vista high school. I myself will be going to Sierra and my brother is going to ARC.

Well I have nothing else to do so I might just try that

My first attempt failed because I was a pretty good high school student. I graduated a year early at 16 years old with a 3.7 GPA. I moved down from a small hellhole town to live with my real mom and go to college. They had just bought a house and told me that if I moved in with them they would pay my way through school since my grandparents had raised me 100% of the time since birth.

Well needless to say the sudden new expense of the house proved to be to much for them and then "We'll pay for school for you!" turned into "Get your ass a job and get me some rent and then maybe I'll pay for your parking pass."

Hehe that was my other turn off from the school I went to. I was going to school at night because I had to work and everyone in all my classes was at least 40+!

The only embarrassing thing for me and it's not even that big of a deal but I have to take a math class that doesn't really count towards anything. But math is a really weak point for me... Hence a 3.7 and not a 4.0 :P (oh and PE... Hell yeah I failed it!)

Well, when I was 28, I decided to go back and get my college degree. So I went to UNLV for 5 years. Then, just this year, I graduated from an 18 month Executive MBA program. It's never too late...

Ya I was going to Uni and working part time and night and it just didn't work for me. The 2 hour break inbetween classes would turn me off and I wouldn't go to my next class lol

This school is more like high school where it's 8am to like 330pm, class after class after class.

I'm just wondering what kind of computer I'll be working on.. I know they have to be able to run Server 2008 and Vista Business so either they will be decent or crap and very slow haha
