Major Hurricane coming- Fun Fun

Just wonderin what all the guys in Spring Hill and Tampa area are plannin on doing if/when this thing makes a hard turn north. I planned on going to the Marlins game tonight, or maybe the car show at Towers, but then the hurricane (Dennis) had to start pissin rain on me. Not big wind here, maybe 45-50MPH, but gusts are gettin up to around 60, so we're seein some tropical storm force winds. We've gotten so used to it, we don't even put up the shutters till the hurrican is a stron Cat 2. Am I the only one? Just wondered what you guys planned on doing if it get's back up to a Cat 5 and you are on the "dirty" side? Stay safe with whatever you plan.

We had a damn active year last year, and this hurricane season isn't startin out too good. It's like we had it coming. Before last year, it seemed like FOREVER since a hurricane of any strength had hit us, then boom, all at once. I had to come home to help board up the house, and was home 3 straight weeks. It was rediculous the damage it caused. Hoping for better results this season though.

I know...I'm a claims adjuster. If that shit hits I'm going to be coming home going in the shower in the fetal position and crying for about a month straight.

Nothin else you can do but get over it and deal with it. Jus get over it quick and get those braces out. I would like to see the new design (and probably formally request one of the new brackets) cuz I've been uber busy and not yet installed my brace. Let me (us) know, and yeah, I'm hijacking it, but it's my thread, so . Yeah, so, go make stuff, it's more fun in the rain.

this hurricane is going to be a rip off......all its going to do is scare everyone from Florida and make me lose lots of money.....its down to a category 1 and will never strenghten to the storm that it was.....all we're getting here are slight winds and a few gusts.....nowhere near tropical storm force......maybe 25mhp gusts at the most.....its just going to suck because it will probably rain all day tomorrow


whoever is up there is just going to play around with Florida before he decides to really get serious

Well it wouldn't be worth it if it were a cat. 42 and destroyed everything, so I'm happy with what I got.
