Odd story on that.. Paid for a chassis and sold it before I even really got started on it.. for profit.

Also, found out there is an option to get AC in a certain FFR car that I wanted to do in the first place.....

So if you're wondering.. there is a 351w on an engine stand in my garage with a stroker crank, bored, and has ported heads.. just needs headers/intake manifold/carb and an Thunderbird IRS rear end leaned against the wall.. ordered some Ford GT knock offs last week.. Totally forgot I told you guys I was doing a kit car! Sadly I'm still waiting for someone to actually buy the Mercedes so I can push forward with it more than just getting the stuff I need aside from the kit. Still torn on transmission options, but leaning towards a TKO600.

You don't want to be

All I do is work, come home, and work more when I get home.. I've built a few motorcycles now and sold them all already :/

My fun stuff will slow down over the next couple of years as the things I'm doing get more expensive and I need to do some work to my house. I -really- need to build a pole barn with a lift in it..

Do you need to live that vicariously through me? It's a rough life for me come May with my part time "job"... There's another member (likely not active anymore) that "works" with me at the same "job". Just a few random pictured I grabbed from the album, but I have the past two years (mostly) photos on my facebook from working at Mecum Auction. I always have a great time driving cars that I would likely never have a chance to drive without being a part of it (both nationwide and cup nascar cars, IRL cars, an F1 car, a plethora of prostreet cars, full on dragsters, super rare muscle cars, exotics, etc).. like I said.. rough life.

Yup, pretty much

One thing I'm a little peeved about though is you took a picture of the nameplate on a Shelby GT500KR but don't show us the rest of the car?!?

Part time gig at the auction sounds pretty cool.

I can definitely relate regarding the home stuff. I need to do a full bathroom remodel, replace all windows and front door plus put together a gameplan for the kitchen as well. At least we got all new appliances two years ago.

All that just to get it into good enough shape to sell it and go buy another house

No way all that stuff is gonna get done unless I stop buying stuff for my car.

I hear you there.. I have a billion things going on at once it seems. I'll dig out a picture of the KR I drove.. I really liked that car..really..really liked it. I still say my favorite street car I've ever been in there (which is saying a lot) was a '71 Dodge Challenger with a Keith Black built 528 making somewhere near 600rwhp. The owner had built it for the Silver State Classic but never got a chance to drive it there. I think it was a combination of how awesome the car was (and surprisingly tame) and how cool the guy who owned/built the car was.

I'll actually start another thread of nothing but pictures from what I've been doing the past few years since I've "left" the forum... has been a blast.
