Saw a 2013 Focus ST last night

I saw the first one at our local Ford dealer last night and figured with the 250hp EcoBoost 2.0 four-cylinder, I'd better check out the competition. Sticker price was $25K and that was with stock cloth seats, not the optional Recaros. Overall, not very impressed though I know an aftermarket tune will probably get it close to 300hp. Stock, the car ran a 14.7 at 97mph.

i agree it's not the best looking focus ever, But for what it is it's pretty slick as it's on par handling wise with the SS/Tc turbalt and is the first turbo focus in the states. And even at 24-25K starting it's not that expensive as i remember my 07 IRL having a 25K sticker and was not even fully loaded! Faster than a GTI in stock from and just as fast as the MS3 in a straight line with a smaller motor! I cant wait to see what happens when it's opened up! I guess different stroke for different folks as if i were looking for a brand new car and a hot hatch i would totally consider it!

I just think it looks gaudy..but then again I don't like hatches. I do like that Hyundai Veloster's look though...

Yes drox i agree no LSD is a Fail! But if you look at the ST in the road racing series it's in it's freaking dominating! and the one thing they did was put in an LSD! Modulating wheel spin thru the front brakes only leads to serious brake fade/premature wear on a road course! Well i allways liked the SS/TC sedan and this is right up it's alley just alittle slower. More door's =more whores! Lol
