Don't you have a few psu's sitting around? I have all kinds of old parts. I have a hard time throwing the old parts out since I know how much they cost new and how worthless they are now...

Well FM2 is the latest AMD Fusion APU (CPU GPU hybrid) socket, and ITX is the smallest format standard for a motherboard. Currently, a FM2 ITX system would put all the necessary components for a low-end computer into the smallest package that is available without using pre-built specific components (proprietary components).

So, you can build a very small desktop computer that fits 95% of the peoples' needs on the cheap without having to use extra stuff. These are the types of computers most of my non-gamer family request. Even being a gamer myself, I tend to use more micro atx boards than full-size ones anymore. Smaller is easier to deal with in a lot of instances.
