Unhappy Winter has come

...to Pittsburgh, at least.

Anyone else?

Snowed last night and on the way into work this morning. Nothing much, but the white stuff fell. Though I'm a skiier, I'm now feeling cause fun in the RL might be wrapping up for a while. It'll be my daily driver through the winter, but if this morning is any indication (any RPMs above 3k in 1st, 4k in 2nd), I can look forward to granny shifting for a few months to avoid wheel spin.

But hey, I might see an increase from my typical 15 mpg. One upside, I guess.

Snow mixed w/ rain mixed w/ sleet. Aka...shitty ass weather.

Came sooner this year, though. We usually get another week or two (or four) before first seeing some of God's dandruff And the leaves haven't even changed yet.

Maybe'll get one more nice weekend to take a run through the Appalachians in this part of the world. I've been looking forward to doing that, but we seemed to have transitioned from summer right into end of November weather. None of those nice late October, early November days. But, we might get a few.

Nothing up here in the great white north (Toronto). It's cold and wet but no snow. Last year we got hit around Christmas so hopefully we have a couple months until snow.

In southern california, its sunny, but 60-70 degrees during the day, and around 55-60 at night. Pretty cold for me. No heavy rain or snow though, so the tires serve as all seasons.

Just bought the winter tires yesterday. They'll get it ready and will install with 24 hours notice.

I'm waiting until the forecast says snow but in the cold wet weather we've been getting there's still a lot of slipping.
