My Saturday : A look at the events...

Well, I woke up this morning and built a deck with my dad, actually just the stairs for the deck, only took an hour or so.

I then proceeded to wash my car. Started at noon. At about 1:30 a buddy pulled in with his new car, 97 Civic hatch with a B20B engine and 18g turbo. Pretty cool car. Ive never heard of a B20B but whatever. We shot the shit for an hour, had a good time, he left, I finished my car at 3:30.

I then proceeded to go visit my grandma in the hospital. Two years ago my grandma was diagnosed with stage 4 liver/bowel cancer. Three weeks ago, I was told it was terminal. Last friday, 21st of sept, my dad told me she had a couple days left. I've spent 2 hours in the hospital everyday since then. So by 4:15 I was at the hospital. I left a little early at around 5:45 today.

This is where it gets interesting....
I go to my girlfriends house, ring the door bell. Her brother answers, and says shes in her room, head up and see her. Her door is locked, which is normal. So I knock, sure enough she opens and there is ANOTHER DUDE on her bed...clothed but still.....

Over the last couple weeks our relationship sucked, I was actually going to her house today to ends things. I was nervous all day, thinking of the right things to say without hurting her feelings too much.

Back to story,
I stood there at her door for a moment and let it sink it. I looked at the guy, look her right in the eye, and said 'we're done' and walked away. As I was walking away she said to me 'we weren't doing anything, just hanging out'...I then laughed, put my shoes on and left.

It saved me the speech, but still I am quite a bit 'struck' by this, as shes the girl Ive trusted the most of any of my girlfriend's. I've never been cheated on before, that I know of.

I'm kind of fucked up right now....umm soo yeah...is this too much of a shortbuss emotional thing? haha I hope not...just needed to vent....

That sucks dude, sorry to hear it. I always say NEVER trust a girlfriend. If I were you, I'd try to forget about the whole thing as quickly as possible and spend as much quality time with your grandmother as possible. Good luck to you and best wishes.

Thank you kindly, the fact that I had already decided I didnt want to be with her has made it a lot easier. Can't imagine going through this if I was madly in love with her. Thank god it was only a 4 month relationship.

I will keep spending most of my free time with my grandma. I almost hate to say it, but I just wish they could let her go. She is suffering so much and wants to go. When she was better she signed all the papers saying to not put her on life support, but they are still giving her drugs and stuff. I donno its a touchy subject, like I would definately love to still have her around, she has lived next door my whole life. I also can't justify someone having to live like that, barely able to communicate, can barely move any muscles, has a terrible time breathing...its just sad...

Sorry about your grandmother Periodic. I understand what you are saying. There comes a time it is best to let loved ones pass on with dignity, and not do heroic measure to prolong a life that past the point of any hope of getting better. I have seen a similar thing with my in-laws. You will be very glad later in life about the time you are spending with her now.

Can't live without them either....but man seems like my last two girls have been mental, and fucked me up....haha so i'll agree with you..i'm going on a big break...guess what that means...mooooo money fo moddds...

i say killem all! no just kidding i would just think of it as a good way you were going to her house to split and instead of sitting at her house for hours trying to have a good reason to bounce welll she helped out saved you hours of your life you would never get back and you did it the right way "im done" wish i could of ended one of mine that way!

Haha true true...I feel so much better now...stil a bit confused for seeing that...but its all good...took my anger out on autocross today...had a WICKED day, was only 6.3 seconds off FTD, with 111 competitors. Was a huge event, and we still got 6 runs in, each.
