Sky vs Solstice

Hi guys, I need some input on these 2 cars. I would be getting either one until the performance versions are released but... I just got an email from Saturn Canada on the release of the Sky. In Canadian $ there is a $6000 difference between the 2 models. Since they are essentially the same car I was wondering if anyone knew the key difference (I assume the Saturn has things included that would be an option with the Solstice).

As is I'm torn between the 2 cars. I like the exterior of the Sky better but I like the interior of the Solstice better.

Thanks

The solstice is a bare-bones car so that its light so you can auto-x it and crap like that. The sky, I cant believe im saying this, is the luxury version of the solstice. It has almost everything the solstice lacks, including a/c. I dont think leather comes standard but I think sport cloth, like our recaros, does.

to the best of my knowledge they're going to have the exact same comparison of the cobalt ss vs the redline. Almost exactly the same car just some very minor differences. Things like the trim of the interior, the materials used, etc. I'm not sure if they've released the entire layout of what comes standard with the Sky yet, but I'd imagine it's probably things like the wheels on the Sky are bigger, tires are bigger, etc. "Little" things, but if you're looking on a purely functional basis, they're going to be the same car, i'd probably recommend going on what your own preference is in terms of looks.

And as for the Sky exterior. I've been told by a couple people it's disappointing when you see it in person. The Solstice I have to say just looks like a VERY sleek car all around, interior and out. I might consider it if it wasn't for the markup and the fact it's pretty damn small for my tall ass (as small as an elise actually, maybe even smaller in terms of leg room). I'm just hoping the Sky gives another inch.... that's what I'm waiting to see.

My suggestion on that note, is before you decide which you want, sit in both and just get a feel for it.

Ya pretty much load up the Solstice and you're getting that missing $6000 roughly. on the functional basis they're the same basically though.

Thanks for the info.
I'm not chosing until the performance versions come out. I am guessing that the missing options would be available in the GXP (or is it GTP) version so I guess those 2 might be in line with the pricing.

Here's a video I haven't seen before introducing the Solstice to journalists. I couldn't find a similar one on the Sky.

Oops here's the link http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...ntiac+solstice

where's the link? :P but yea sky is going to be sweet, i'm personally going to wait a couple years for all the kinks to be ironed out and for them to not have a markup.

The SKY is very sexy in person while the Solstice leaves it lacking for me.
