Thumbs up home made octane booster

ive been experimenting with a few different octane boosters through the course of the last 2 months or so, here we go as follows

104+ ocant booster almost no difference in the butt dyno
nos ocane booster would not reccomend does nothing
home made brew consisting of 1 gallon of xylene 2 ounces of mineral spirits and 2.5-3 ounces of marvel mystery oil, i my self with 11 gallons of 93-94 octane in the tank can tell a world of difference with probably around 5-7 more mpg and absolutely hesitating in the 5700 rpm range, and except from the aem sr intake and the torque bars i'm stock, from what ive been reading from doing a general search with adding one gallon of tolulene and or xylene with the additives above you will get around 104 or more octane per tank so i would reccomend it for any one to try but i'm not liable for what happens if anything, initally the tests were done on my test subject a fuel injected 1988 ranger 2.3 bored and stroked to 2.5 with flat top pistons garret t-3/4 hybrid with only mega squirt and exhaust temp gauge safely running 16 psi on flat top forged pistons, i my self was very surprised because at 10-12 psi on regular 92 octane heard audible knock when the mixture was created and used no knock on 10-12 psi wastegate, used more and more xylene and kept turning boost to it running a strong 16 psi at 5500rpms and still absolutely no audible knock. what do you think? when the boost was turned up used different waste gate.. used around 3 gallons of tolune to 5 gallons of gas 1 bottle of marvel mystery oil and 10 oz of mineral spirits, also the egt when running 10 psi was around 1100 degrees farenheit and when turned up didn't go past 1250.. i was awed just adding more fuel and more boost in a turbo charged four cylander that origionally made 145hp now to almost by but dyno at least 250 or so have to get it to a dyno to see accurate readings,,fyi the engine is from a 1988 turbo coupe, let me know what you think and what your suggestions are for the future, if you want i can list additional mods to the ranger for the post is to long as is
