Well when I get mine I will have it on asap so I will let everyone know, if any issues comes out of this. Also welds don't have to look pretty to be functional.. thats more of a professional thing. My big concern is if there is lack of penetration and there are pin hole leaks. Hmmm I wonder if I can hydrotest mine?????? Maybe I'll try that. As far as gaskets go, copper usually has only one time use... That usually depends on how tight the original flanges were done. The idea of using RTF doesn't give me a warm fuzzy. Then again a think Mailsmars pointed out in the advertisement it said with gaskets.

God bless and eveyone have a safe and enjoyable holiday season.

That has no effect on the end product shipped. If the seller is responsible he looks at the header and returns them to the production facility for rework or scrape. The quality of the product is the direct responsibility of the seller and I would have thought that TOG would have been a bit more critical of that quality. That also has zero relationship to the fact that gaskets were promised and not delivered, that the header would fit and with the requirement of the gasket sealer that says that they do not fit properly.

P.S. This pretty much ends the pre production group buys here ever again...... So don't bother to ask....

dynoing a ricer is like beating off. it seems fun at the time, but theres really no point.

Mailmars.. I wonder if group buying and the pressure to please everyone is causing sellers to send out products a bit too soon before having them QCed. So I would have to agree unfortunetly, If I see a group buy I might be more hesitant to engage

I do not believe so. In most cases what starts the spiral is lack of communications from the vendor. I know for myself if Jon would have said that the quality from the production facility was very poor and it would be another 4 weeks to re manufacture the headers at another facility or that this one has cleaned up it's act, I would not have one problem. First run productions are always late but there is no excuse for shitty products and no communications. The communications part is not that hard. Yea, some would have been pissed about the delay but a good product late is tons better than shitty product late and this one was already a month late.

Pre production buys are gone as far as I am concerned.

The only other thing is we do have dyno numbers for this which are good and so far we only have one header with pics.. maybe someone else got one. I can't complain till I see mine. So I will hope for the best.
