Believe what you want, but the "quality" of product coming from Hotshot/RGS hasn't changed much in 10 years. When you get what you want when you want it and with all the bells and whistles included for a good price, crappy welds and a less than an exact fit doesn't get a second thought from customers.
The quality of TOG's product has never been any different than what you see here, it's just that with the other products the overall design left much more room for error and more time was probably taken to validate the design/fit before entering production.
I know that the LSJ header prototype wasn't dropped off at Hotshot/RGS until very late in October and it wasn't until then that they could start work on building a production fixture and address tooling requirements. They built the product that they were given, of the quality outlined by the wholesale price and in a timeframe TOG demanded.
What do you expect?

TOG knew better than to let something from Hotshot/RGS go out the door without looking it over and kicking back the pieces that were obviously unacceptable.

This is all for not because the laser cut flanges are scalloped to far into the flange exposing the EGR porting in the head and gaskets, the primaries are too large to accept hardware on the studs without hitting the pipes and welds and with over 4" between the exhaust studs and only 0.25" of material to seal the header to the exhaust it's going to leak no matter what you do.

Again did anyone at TOG actually EVER put an OEM gasket up to either flange to verify things lined up and would seal? It's not like an OEM gasket, CAD drawings, example flanges of multiple designs, stock manifolds, an ECOTEC head and other headers weren't available to compare with. I'll bet every dime they made on the deal that Hotshot/RGS actually had that stuff laying around in plane view since they did in fact build SCdyne headers too.

TOG fucked up - time and time again PERIOD.

And HOW would you know that??

RGS / HOTSHOT MADE the damn prototype so there was NO waiting to drop anything off!

John at RGS showed Jon from TOG these beautiful flanges he was going to use for the Cobalt / Ion header. RGS set the timeframe for the build so there was NO demand from Jon at TOG for a timeframe.

The first place TOG fucked up was letting RGS / Hotshot build these headers in the first place.

The second thing TOG fucked up on was not having gaskets made.

The third thing TOG fucked up was shipping out these crappy headers.

Lastly TOG fucked themselves by letting Jon go and that low life greedy bastard Ken Puckett snuck off into the night......

Who really gives a shit about the internal Peyton place that was going on. TOG ripped everyone off and it makes no difference what place RGS/Hotshot played, period, end of story. The facts are simple and indisputable by anybody (that has a brain).

1) Jon as a authorized rep for TOG not only advertised the product but joined by Mike from the now defunct PSI pushed the group buy.

2) Jon as a authorized rep for TOG took my phone call and my credit card info and billed it right then and there.

3) When TOG was late on the shipment, you (ydtrack) posted info to the forum keeping the smell factor down so everybody would not back out before the crap/skip was completed.

4) TOG shipped crap and then disappeared like a fart in the wind including your bud Jon.

Enough, no more goddamn piss poor excuse. TOG took the money and TOG was/is responsible for the quality of the product that they sell not RGS/Hotshot. No one gives a fucking flip what happened between thieves, got it. Bye, hit the bricks, whatever... No one gives a damn about the excuses just the fact that TOG attempted to take them for their hard earned money. The fact that SOME of us will get it back makes no difference whatsoever. There are people that are going to lose money that they worked hard for, some will have made budget sacrifices that hurt. So why don't you take that crap you are peddling to a Honda forum or something and simply hit the bricks.

Well I really don't give a fuck what you think or what you have to say.

Yeah TOG fucked up, but life goes on.

If ya got a header either make it work or dispute the charge, send it back and get your money back.

Can you just go away now... you're nothing but a TOG/Jon Fanboi. You don't give two shits that we got screwed, the only thing that you care about is your friends rep. It's done for on this board. FOREVER.

This thread is now CLOSED. Ydtrack, Jon, and all of the TOG fanbois can leave now. This chapter is over. Jon is scum, TOG is scum, and so are the rest of you that stuck up for them. Good day.
