Angry Ive had it up to here with this F***ing car!!!

AHHHH!!! Went in damn limp mode again on the f***ing street!! Im about to say screw it and return everything to stock... Ive never had this much trouble with a car and putting mods on it... Im really starting to wonder if its all really worth it. If stage 1 cleans this all up then thats it, ill be done with modding. If it doesnt, then im gonna get a different car.

have you tried taking it to a saturn dealer to diagnose if it's a defect or one of ur mods?

"Barrys Intake Mod, Custom 3 Inch Exhaust Pipes, Magnaflow 3inch Muffler, Bypass mod"
I already see a problem here...The exhaust shouldn't cause the problem but the bypass mod and intake "mod" may...what is "barrys intake mod"? Is that the korax intake? Of course you have a 04 and...lot's of problems with those...did you buy it used by the way?

I know you love Barry's mod... but it wouldn't be the first car that had troubles with it. Ask Goofy.

It's not the car and the pulley alone. It's something else. I promise you both... I was just around a bunch of RL's, they've all used pullies of that size. They all run fine.

Do you both have home-made intake setups?

One of you still have the stock air box they can put back on???

I run the 2.8 pulley and it has never gone into limp mode. After I went to the track and ran the same time's i did when I was stock I wanted to sell the car also. But I am going to keep it and just keep trying. I think the Stage 1 from GM will cure a lot of these problems.

The intake JPK has from me just replaces the Plastic elbow piece with a metal one it wouldn't cause the problem it's just like the AEM setup.

So he can deal with boost leaks instead? Same difference. I've seen them first hand, it's just as annoying as this is.

agreed, but a lot of boost leaks come from people doing things the wrong way, although that could be kids problem as well, not callin you out redline kid just saying, when you mod a car you take responsibility for what happens. I dont trust any other mechanics but myself, and im a damn idiot with a wrench in my hand.
