rev limiter

how high do you think we can make power on these cars if we could bump it up past 7,000??

what about with a comp cam?

Power is still climbing, it looks like... Wop said the springs are pretty well as close to the limit as you'd want to run...

And your point is exactly what? Have you seen the civics hp and torque curve? They need a 8500 red line to get anything that resembles hp and the torque is simply not there at all......

there is no point... i was just curious... any way civics make all there power in reverse, i had one back into my old z28. that was the fastest i have seen one go.

A Ferrari F355 can rev to 8500ish....lol, again no point.

How high do you think we could go with Sinster's new heads? (as isn't he upgrading everything)

I think a 7500 limiter would be good, mainly for gearing purposes... I'm really wondering if we can get a new final drive gear somewhere... That would shorten up each gear nicely... we don't need a 175mph top speed, a 150 or 160 would be more than enough. For racing, I'd take a 130 mph top end...
