The saturn dealership thinks I'm crazy and the local GMPP dealership wont touch a saturn

Car runs pretty good on the new injectors, though

Thats what I'm going to have to do. I'm going to have to take off work to prove to them that this is something they can do and get it scheduled, and then i'm going to have to take off work again to actually get it done. Over the phone, the service techs are like, "staged upgrade, eh? and we flash the car for you, huh? OK, how about NO"

Same thing I had to do... is there anyway you can get them to call GMP, or call Saturn's Customer service? It seems that they're now aware of some of the misunderstandings. A few people have gotten it resolved by having the dealer call GMPP. Hell, you can have my dealer/tech call yours! Hehe... I'm sure he'd do it for ya. Even have the service manager call them for ya.

they have to call tech support and get ahold of the program, they take your authorization code. and from there can download your new ecu flash (program) for your stage upgrade. tell them pull their heads out their A$$E$ and get on it. OH YEA and ENJOY the finished product

What? Ask them if they will touch a Cobalt SS/SC, when they say yes, tell them "It's the SAME FUCKING CAR you dumbass!!!!"

I had no problem getting the flash done, I gave the service clerk the instructions, a bit later the service manager came out and asked if it was stage 1 or 2. Told him even though it didn't matter. And whalla ecm was flashed, no problems to speak of. Now the intercooler pump, thats another story.

I'm surprised to hear a GMPP dealer wont take your money to do a simple reflash- it's gravy!!
Maybe ask them to check out Page 260 of the new GMPP catalog to prove to them the exact same kit PN is used in the Cobalt SS. A lot of Chevy dealers have a hard time hearing that Saturn had the LSJ an entire YEAR before them. I honestly think the "misprint" excluding the 2004 Redline from the GMPP catalog might not have been so accidental!!

The only reason they ask 1 or 2 is to know what kit components get hooked into the GMPP warranty.
