Intense or GM Stage???

Theres probably a couple of threads on this already, but I can never find anything with the search tool. What is my best option to go with, not worring about warranty. It looks to be better potential with INTENSE kits. Just wondering everyone's view on this. More bang for your buck with stage 5 (275whp!!). What other mods exactly would this require to be as smooth as possible?

That 275 is an undershoot. Rob's SS doesn't have the ported supercharger.

Depends on your goals, hopes and dreams...

Not a "racer" and just want significantly more "pop" AND maintain your warranty? - GM Stage 2

Off warranty, weekend racer or just wanting to burn the tires off every chance you get?? - Intense Stage 5
(or a "roll-your-own" version of it)

Really??? I just assumed he DID!
He's the poster boy for their LSJ development program isnt he??
I would think he would therefore have their full Stage 5...No?

Any reasons against running Intense Stage 5 on a daily driver?

There's really nothing that makes it any less streetable than stock. Might use a bit more gas from the 60lb injectors, but you shouldn't if you don't hammer the gas alot.

the 60lb injectors are roughly 630cc's, the 1000cc's I use in the SRT are 95lbs. If I drive normal, I get very good gas milage, now mind you we are pullling out fuel at idle.......

I figured he did too, but they haven't had time. They have that to put on his car and then on top of that they are going to do testing of JBP tri-flow cams, custom made and other companies' cams on his car here shortly as well. They have them to test, but just like the ported s/c, they haven't had time.

Think...one of us getting the Stage 5 and some good tires...we could reach 12.75 or better before him!!

He has ALMOST everything in Stage 5, corsa exhaust, cat delete, DOT Drag Radials, and since he has those tires and screwed up an axle, INTENSE has him on new axles, which will be selling soon...a set for $799.

Oh, he also has the SPEC Stage 3+. I don't think I'm missing anything on it.

Also, djt81185 has the 60lb injectors, 2.5" pulley, spark plugs, K&N CAI and thats it, well along with a tuned PCM and he is putting down 270 and 253...not 110% is thats the exact torque, but he was in the low 250s. Thing is he is on his stock exhaust...REALLY needs to open that up!!!
