glad to hear you're getting SOME money back - what'd they have to say about the OTHER labor costs and the tranny???

04 - if you plan on ANY mods to bring you past the 260whp mark, I'd find an A/M clutch that will work for you...the stocker WILL NOT hold up, trust me!
1500 miles on mine, and I'm probably sitting somewhere around 270ish and the thing slips pretty consistently when power shifting.

WOW, having been around this business for years I can say that it's not common for CM to do that. Usually they just put the blame on the installer/owner and turn a blind eye.

If CF and CM has problems getting a good chutch to work on the LSJ I would be hesitant to go with a lesser known company like Bully Performance. They talk a good game online, but I don't see any SFI certification and a lot of sprung hub puck assemblies.

Exedy for now is the way to go. I know that Exedy and ACT have very close working relationships so it may not be long before other options are on the market that we can really trust.

I pretty much have a gm'ed out saturn.

EH manifold, Stage 2.

just installed B+m.

on my stock clutch with 20k if i redline 2nd and shift to third i will slip.

also the rpms sound shakey in 2nd, meaning i seem to be overpowering the stock clutch, not enough holding power.

and if i accelorate quick in first the clutch changes pedel feel, the same way it does after it slips,

but according to saturn its fine.

does EH and stage 2 put me over the stock holding threshold?

i wonder if a fresh stock unit would handle things, but im NOT doing it only to have it slip.

so i need to get together massive cash, but exedy is a prime canadate, once i hear a sucesss story.

There are MANY cases of Stage 2 becomming the beginning of the end for the stock clutch. You MIGHT get a little life out of it, if you end your modding there - but otherwise, you're better off going aftermarket.

they probably would've gave me the whole your shop installed our clutch wrong except the last clutch masters clutch i had installed was by a shop of thier choice. I let them pick the shop and it was still jacked up when they got done. in all honesty when that shop got done i had gree antifrees in my intercooler and radiator and my A/C seomhow quit working.
