price?

Well folks, it's been a little over a year since the K&N intake came out right? Well I just got back from Iraq and need a price update for how much its costing to have the dealer install this thing now? I'm pretty sure it used to be around $300 bucks...it has gotten to have gone down a little bit now, but really, by how much? POST YOU REPLYS and let's get a price check across country.

This is about as cheap as you'll find and they're a vendor on here:

As far as install, just get together with us (SCRLA) sometime and we'll hook you up in less than an hour. We just swapped one of these over between 2 cars in a couple hours (we were screwing around a little)

SCRLA is meeting at Palmdale this weekend (Fri or Sat. night) for some racing and tuning - be nice to get another one out there, even if you don't want to run.
Hopefully will be having a Track/PCH Cruise/BBQ going on next weekend - checkout the SouthWestern section for more/updated info.

I, myself, am prior AF - just separated and hanging here in CA for a couple months. Did my fair share of 4 rotations over to both OIF and OEF, so welcome back!

welcome home. there alot cheaper then they used to be, you can try to find a used one and get it for even cheaper yet.

Thanks for the invite and the welcome back. I would love to meet up with you guys sometime in the future, but palmdale is a little bit of a longer drive than I'm up for this weekend...lots of plans already being that I just got back. Thanks for the help though, I'll keep tabs on everything thats going on via this website.

hey man if ya know how to use a screw driver, and drink a beer then ya have no reason to take it to the dealer trust me on that one.

buy a 6 pack, grab a buddy and follow the instructions, its actually very easy,
On a 1-10 scale i give the k&N a 2,

But if ya want to pay a dealer ta do it thats cool too.
