Someone should mod the first post of this with this info:

All cobalt exhausts will work on the Redline but you need to relocate a hanger and extend the tip by 2"

the cobalt. I was just wondering if it really is just for the cobalt

or can it also be put on the Redline cause it sounds pretty

sweet heres a link too a video on youtube of it on a cobalt

people posted some bad thoughts/comments about that exhaust actually

but it should fit the RL with a little tweaking (I had the GMPP exhaust on my RL before)

K my next question is....If i were to get an exhaust what exhaust should i get

thats going to give me the deepest tone and best sound. I want to refrain as

much as possible from the typical 4 cylinder Honda sounding exhausts. I was

possibly looking into the loudmouth or the vibrant...Any1 got any ideas?

Gmpp performance exhaust sounds great and it gives you some good gains too and its not ricey at all.

Yeah the GMPP exhaust sounds really good. I had the Sport and it had a nice tone to it, but was on the loud side (meaning you'll easily get noticed driving around):
GMPP Exhaust Installed!! (pics & audio)

If I had to do it again, I would've gotten the GMPP Touring exhaust (a little bit mellower/deeper) and more for the sleeper

BUT I just put the exhaust on for sound (I was stock). Putting on the GMPP exhaust with engine mods will probably hurt you in the long run though since it's only 2.25" piping.

If you're gonna be modded, I'd say go with the 2.5" Magnaflow exhaust for more flow:
Magnaflow cat-back Installed sound clips

Though if you're doing exhaust & wanna make a lot of power....your bottleneck is gonna be the header & the downpipe....upgrade those too & you'll net some nice gains

Has anyone gone with the CTI 2.5 Over Axel Replacement with muffler and tip? If so, how is it concerning sound and performance. Thanks.

Just checked out their products and that's a great idea.

The price isn't too bad either

If you bought the 2.5" section/bend for $95 and then a aftermarket muffler for $100 or so (elsewhere)....it'd be a little cheaper though.

Just depends if you want a muffler with a tip on it already (which you'd get elsewhere--like a fart can or something) or if you want a muffler & then a small piece of pipe with a tip on the end coming off the muffler (what they're selling)

Yea, i'm just wondering if it will be any good. I could buy this now and save up for a little while and just buy the thermal catback system. They don't tell you what size tip they put on, and they don't tell you the part number of the muffler they use, so i'm not too sure about this setup.

I have just the 2.5 with stock muffler and I noticed a bit more response in the lower RPMs.
