whta size is the factory exhaust,and what is agood size to get without losing too much back pressure

The stock exhaust is 2.5"-2.25" depending on where you measure it! It bottle necks in several spots, but effectivly its a 2.25 system. The diameter you choose is also somewhat dependant on your other mods, but I'd generally suggest a 2.5" for mildly modified cars.

hmm so with stage 2 and a CAI a 2.5 should work well? My next question, i have a pacesetter header from a 2005 2.2 ecotec cavalier that worked with a 2.5in exhuast i had on it. Will that header work on the ION?

vibrant has a header/highflow cat package for bout $600-$700 or so, cant remember what site i saw it on, the vibrant site doesnt have a pic of it but another site does, werd huh?

Arrow what has a great sound a deep one?

i am picky on the sound like to know a low deep sound not a fart can like hondas
