so the gmpp performance exhaust made for the cobalt will fit the ion redlines with no problem? someone posted about it being 2 inches longer or something

2 inches shorter iirc...

I thought there were different hangers toward the back...anyone remember?

socal has that exhaust and its 2inch to short. and has a bow tie on the tip..

i have the gmpp sport cobalt exhasut and the hangers had to be re welded and i put a new tip on, all in all i like it

It's not too bad to change/modify the hangers and adding a couple inches to the back is easy. You can put whatever tip you want on, it doesn't come with any attached.

Did you notice a boost in performance? It is a 2.25" design isn't it? I am curious if that is okay for the power or if we should focus on 2.5".

i did notice a a little gain in power. IT SOUNDS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!! not to ricey, not to loud at idle, wot it just blairs. I'll get some poping and gurgling on decel in first, which i like. for the price it was worth it. I paid like 375 for it

I just worry about it being too restrictive for what we are putting out, or will potentially be putting out. Although from what I remember the Corsa exhausts are just 2.25" as well. And yeah, $375 is a good price...
